ALKALINE WATER

Okay … let’s start from the beginning. One way for us to start staying healthy, young and beautiful is to drink lots of water. Celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and many others … drink plenty of water throughout their busy day.  (www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvsfVyJo194).

Water! The Earth is three quarters filled with it … and during pregnancy, we’re all developed in it. Without it there is no life.  Sometimes I’m amazed at how misinformed people are about how important water is to our health and beauty. Growing up, I drank filtered water.  After a while I graduated to  distilled water, and then brita pitcher water.  After becoming health conscious and a vegan, I was introduced to an elder nicknamed Dr. Sebi. Dr. Sebi (may he rest in peace) was an herbalist who recommended natural herbs and plant foods for our daily diet, particularly for black Americans.   He also recommended us to drink plenty of high Ph balanced water..  Of course… I did my research and due diligence, then went out and purchased high Ph water. Here’s a little of what I found out and why I switched from store bought bottled water to Ph balanced or alkaline water.

 Alkaline water has a higher pH level than regular drinking water. Because of this, some advocates of alkaline water believe it can neutralize the acid in your body. Normal drinking water generally has a neutral pH of 7. Alkaline water typically has a pH of 8 or 9.   However, pH alone isn’t enough to impart substantial alkalinity to water.

Other interesting facts as noted in the article are: Despite the lack of proven scientific research, proponents of alkaline water still believe in its proposed health benefits which include:

  1. anti-aging properties (via liquid antioxidants that absorb more quickly into the human body)
  2. colon-cleansing properties
  3. immune system support
  4. hydration, skin health, and other detoxifying properties
  5. weight loss
  6. cancer resistance

I’ve personally been drinking high Ph water for a few years now and must admit that age sixty-something … lol … I’ve been relatively healthy, feeling good, looking young and beautiful! I suggest that whether you’re young or older … you look into the possible benefits of alkaline or high Ph balanced water and see what it does for you! See you guys next time … God bless!
